Bramber Neighbourhood Development Plan Regulation 16 Consultation

ANNOUNCEMENT - COVID 19

In light of recent announcements regarding COVID - 19, Horsham District Council has reviewed its protocols regarding the consultation process for neighbourhood plans, a number of which were published for public consultation shortly before the government imposed the nationwide lock down.

In order to continue to progress neighbourhood plans we have made a decision to continue with the consultation process. However, as these consultation events commenced close to the time when restrictions on movement came in force,  it has been decided these should be extended. If you are having difficulties in responding to the consultation process please contact: neighbourhood.planning@horsham.gov.uk at the earliest possible opportunity so that we can take this into account.

Bramber Parish Council (as the qualifying body) has prepared a Neighbourhood Development Plan (BNDP), entitled “Bramber Neighbourhood Plan 2018-2031”, for their Parish with the help of the local community. The BNDP sets out a vision for the future of the Parish and planning policies which will be used to determine planning applications locally. In accordance with Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended), the Bramber Neighbourhood Development Plan and associated documents will go out to consultation for 9 weeks inviting representations between: Monday 16 March at 5pm and concluding at midnight on Monday 18 May 2020

HOW TO MAKE REPRESENTATIONS – WRITTEN COMMENTS ONLY

If you would like to make a representation on the Bramber Neighbourhood Development Plan, please do so online and register with the online consultation portal (click on the 'register' button in the left hand corner of this page) or alternatively please send your representation  to: neighbourhood.planning@horsham.gov.uk using the comment form available to download at the bottom of this page.

All representations must arrive no later than 12am (midnight) on Monday 18 May 2020.

NOTIFICATION

Any representations may include a request to be notified of the local planning authority’s decision under regulation 19 in relation to the neighbourhood development plan. Horsham District Council will process the information you provide in a manner that is compatible with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ALL REPRESENTATIONS RECEIVED BY THE AUTHORITY WILL BE MADE PUBLICLY AVAILABLE (IN DUE COURSE). THESE WILL BE IDENTIFIABLE BY NAME AND WHERE APPLICABLE ORGANISATON.
