Ashington has limited to poor existing infrastructure for its current size. The Reg 18 Plan details no proposals to improve it for Ashington. Public transport links are currently poor and there are no plans to improve them. This will lead to increased dependence on private cars. There is currently no Doctors' Surgery or Health Centre in Ashington, and very limited food and other shopping facilities.

We fully support this approach, and have engaged with <name>, the estates lead for the Sussex Clinical Commissioning Groups, and with education officers at West Sussex County Council to start the process of planning our healthcare and education provision to meet the needs of the new settlement at Kingswood. We have also approached the Sussex Wildlife Trust with respect to Green Infrastructure, and are committed to working with them and the Council on the Wilder Horsham District strategy
