We fully support the requirement for a full range of supported housing provision, as part of the overall housing mix in strategic site development. People should be able to choose to remain in their communities as their needs change through the provision of various forms of supported living within their existing settlement (see paragraph 5.3 iii of our Market Absorption Appraisal). .

With reference to Mayfield, the Local Plan SMHA identifies the need for retirement and sheltered housing to be included in all strategic sites. This conflicts directly with the MMT claim that every house will have somebody working from home.
