We fully support this policy, and have prepared a further Ecology Statement (attached) to respond to the requirements of this policy. We have also reviewed the potential for biodiversity net gain (see appendix 1 of the attachment), and can confirm that our proposals are capable of generating at least 10% net gain as our plans develop. We are committed to working with the Wilder Horsham District project to enhance the Nature Recovery Network, and to ensure that we have no impact on the Mens.
We agree with this draft policy. However, we would appreciate greater clarity over what the aspiration to achieve 10% biodiversity net gain actually means in practical terms.
