I object to this Mayfield development because it is an unwarranted intrusion to the Sussex countryside. It would have gross negative impacts on all the neighbouring villages and towns, roads, schools, health facilities and have a devastating impact on the landscape of Sussex and wildlife habitats. The development of this site is proposed by a consortium of men many of whom have been closely involved with changing of Planning Controls. I believe this to be an abuse of power and position.

Horsham DC has identified a number of strategic sales and smaller scale new housing allocation sites to meet the future housing numbers. These sites, including the Land at Kingsfold (SHELAA Ref. SA459) can deliver the quantum of homes required to meet housing need each year. The proposed revised RAG scoring attached better reflects an assessment of the development potential of Land at Kingsfold.

additional homes on the already jammed A24 is not sustainable nor adhering to the environmental objectives stated earlier in the document. Road and public transport Infrastructure investment would be needed for this development.
