The River Adur, Blackland's Camping Site and Sussex Prairie Gardens represent attractive and popular tourist attractions, in conjunction with the historical heritage of the area. There are opportunities to create heritage and nature trails through the Parishes of Henfield, Shermanbury and Woodmancote. The use of the rural area, including fishing, equestrian and bird watching, is beneficial to the health of existing residents and the visitors. This potential must not be curtailed by urbanisation. Any reduction in tourism in the area would greatly affect the viability of small businesses which rely on the tourist attractions and the rural nature of the area.
