| Comment | Council supports this policy, but points out that an implication of the focus of this policy on directing new retail to ‘defined village centres’ is that central Thakeham, having no such defined centre, is extremely unlikely to develop as a ‘medium village’, as suggested by Policy 2 Settlement Hierarchy. |
