I would be supportive of any provision which supports environmental sustainability, reduces carbon usage and increases the opportunity for communities to have resources which are available to all. A priority for all development is finding ways to create safe cycling routes and more readily available bus provision. There should be no new housing built without it being carbon neutral. All new housing should be require the development of local infrastructure which allows it be self sustaining and not simply a commuter hub; all developers need to be held to account over these matters as a matter of principle in all legal agreements undertaken by the district authority.
