Storrington & Sullington and Washington Neighbourhood Plan Modifications Consultation
Following receipt of the Examiner’s report on the submission draft SSWNP Neighbourhood Development Plan, Horsham District Council has considered what response it is taking in response to each recommendation in accordance with paragraph 12 of Schedule 4B of the 1990 Town and Country Planning Act, and has published its decision statement in accordance with Regulation 18 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012. Following consultation with Storrington Parish Council as the Qualifying Body, Horsham District Council is in agreement with the majority of the Examiner’s recommendations. The Council does however have a differing view on a small number of the recommendations, and is therefore inviting representations in accordance with paragraph 13a of Schedule 4B of the 1990 Town and Country Planning Act. The revised modifications, together with the Council’s reasoning are set out in a schedule and will be subject to a further focussed consultation for a period of 7 weeks starting on Wednesday 6 Feb 2019 and closes at 5pm on Wednesday 27 March 2019. All representations will be considered and a decision made on whether to submit the SSWNP Neighbourhood Development Plan to further examination or proceed to referendum.
